I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Economics (Faculty of Economics and Business) of the Universitat de les Illes Balears in Palma de Mallorca.

I received my PhD in management sciences from ESADE Business School-Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona-Spain. I specialize in strategy, corporate governance, and international organizations.

Creating and sharing knowledge to improve the quest for delivering global public goods is my primary motivation why I pursued a career in academia.

My PhD thesis focuses on the governance of intergovernmental organizations (IGOs), in which I identify how IGOs can establish strategies and can be monitored to improve their organizational performance.

I am a certified public accountant with more than a decade of combined professional and industry experience. I embrace a global and diverse perspective, having lived in five countries and visited five continents.

In my spare time, I catch up on my reading, watch a hefty amount of movies and TV series, experiment on cooking, or lounge on a chiringuito.
