I am a professor and researcher, with industry experience in accounting, consulting, and maritime affairs. Currently, I am a visiting professor at the Health and Wellbeing Research Unit of Macquarie Business School (Australia) and at the John Gokongwei School of Management of Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines).
I received my PhD in management sciences from ESADE Business School-Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona, Spain. I specialize in strategy and corporate governance, focusing on social responsibility and international organizations.
My primary motivation why I pursued a career in academia is to create and share knowledge to improve the quest for delivering value for firms and society.
I am a certified public accountant with more than a decade of combined professional and industry experience. I embrace a global and diverse perspective, having lived in five countries and visited five continents.
In my spare time, I catch up on my reading, watch a hefty amount of movies and TV series, experiment on cooking, or lounge on a chiringuito.
